The Pulsair Programmable Controller is by far the most efficient method yet devised to control the mixing schedule for any number of  various sized tanks from one central location, and brings the industrial mixing industry one step closer to full automation.

Coupled with the simplicity and reliability of the Pulsair mixing system, the PPC provides single source control over any number of tanks, regardless of size, proximity or mixing schedules.

The Pulsair PPC is designed to control single or multiple tanks economically, and can be configured to accommodate any number of tanks for future expansion. Display and data input options include keypad or touchscreen operation.

Pulsair FT-1 Series Controllers for 1 and 2 tank installations.

FT controllers are entirely pneumatically operated, and located close to the tanks. Once mixing parameters are set, no further control setting other than turning it on or off are required. Remote control capability for timing functions is available.

FT systems are designed to mix tanks of 3,000 gallons or more, and are easily configured to control the mixing requirements for tanks of 1,000,000 gallons or more with the addition of extra injection valves and accumulator plates.

Because FT systems are pneumatically controlled and contain no electrical components, they meet all the requirements for hazardous environments, including Class 1, Division 1 criteria and international IP-65.

Pulsair TM 2000 Series
(Tank Mounted)

Answering the need for a smaller, yet powerful batch mixer, the TM 2000 was developed to provide a self contained mixer for closed or open top containers from 1,000 to 30,000 gallons. There are 5 models with varying air or gas input volumes to fit tank size and product viscosity requirements.

The TM 2000 controller packs a powerful punch of released air from a single accumulator plate mounted at bottom center of the tank. The system is ideal for cone and dish-bottom tanks less than 8' in diameter. It can also be installed to pulse through rail car or tank truck loading arms to increase heat transfer rate, re-suspend solids, or for batch blending.

External controls adjust Pulse rate and pressure, and can be varied as conditions require. An air regulator and filter are provided, requiring only an air or inert gas source for operation.

The PTM 2000 Series is a powerful, hand-held, variable speed mixer designed to mix or blend liquids or slurries. A sturdy handle allows operator to direct the pulse into any area, to quickly mix the entire contents of the tank. Built in controls for air pressure and timing sequence provide instant adjustment to overcome stubborn mixing conditions.

Five sizes are available for open or closed containers from 1,000 to 30,000 gallons. The PTM has proved to be valuable for winery applications such as low shear cap management or blending, working in open top vats and through drain ports. Each unit includes a variable pulse rate controller, filter, regulator, 25' of  air hose and a 10" diameter accumulator plate.

Hand-Held Mixer Controller

A lightweight, hand held or tank mounted mixer for round or square IBCs from 250 to 750 gallons, or open containers to 1000 gallons. It can be equipped with either a single accumulator plate or with and optional five plate array that can be positioned in the tank to assure a complete mix of the corners. It is especially valuable as a high viscosity drum mixer for difficult mixing situations and is ideal for fast turnaround on tote mixing for paints or chemicals. Tote containers constructed of metal, plastic, cardboard or "bag in a box" can be mixed without fear of interior damage.

Pneumatic on/off switch, pulse-rate control and the injection valve are completely encased in the small steel enclosure. It is shipped as a kit with an air filter, regulator, hose and a 2" NPT threaded bung-mounting bracket. Probe length and accumulator plate sizes are included to your specifications. Shipping weight is less than 20 pounds.

Pulsair 5-55 Drum Stick
Mixer controller

Small enough to hold in one hand, the 5-55 Drum Stick weighs less than 5 pounds and produces a powerful, sequentially timed pulse of air directed at the bottom of the drum. Tests show 55 gallon drums being completely mixed in under 2 minutes. A small, 2" accumulator plate affixed to a 40'' probe fits through drum opening and will not damage drum liners.

Kit includes filter, regulator with gauge, 2" bung adapter, probe, accumulator plate and 12 ft. of self-coiling hose with quick disconnect fittings. A typical air consumption rate would be less than one SCFM.
